About Me

Art is the interpretation of an archetype, an archetype is the consumption of properties, properties are the bias of possibilities, possibilities are limited by circumstance. Interpretation is the mirror that follows this rule and I am here to vanquish anything that racially delays such things by swerve of opinion.

Japan's Demographics

It has been cited many times that there are no African diaspora in Japan, as visitor nor contractor, and by debate has been argued there are far more whites simply, if any, living in Japan, assuming this goes for tourists as well - though that would relate to the entire world as that would imply if anything only Euro and their descent visit Japan.

Here are the Ethnic Groups regardless.

Ethnic Groups
: 99.4% Japanese and 0.6% other, mostly Korean (40.4% of non-Japanese), some Chinese and Filipinos. Ainu, Ryukyuans and hisabetsu buraku constitute native Japanese minority groups. Japan is one of the most homogenous countries on the planet, and although there have been many claims (mostly conjecture) about the Japanese being of a mixed background, nothing has been proven.

Given that query, I doubt much could be said by lieu of any homes owned, that, generally exaggerated, are white owned or rented to live there to be "drawn more than blacks". Generally the statement is that there is No African diaspora to ever visit Japan.

I would disagree with the hip-hop and R&B scene there. Save, Crystal Kay is half black.

Many arguments, found on forums, chats, anything else that comes to mind usually turns into some chance war of small percentages.

Nationalities, become the ethnicity while the latter disappears altogether. Which leads me to my next disturbing input.

India

Indians,
East India, yet another thing I find myself hitting my head against wondering why.

I’ve done some reading, as I’ve had to over the situation, as to why every dark character seemed to have this as a tag, over just about anything else, anything obvious. This was of course, what it came down to. If it wasn’t an Alien or Animal Hybrid, lets not forget Ganguro which is a completely different excuse.
Lets start on India.

India, like Brazil, and seemingly any population that isn’t Europe, America, or Africa, doesn’t seem to make aware that an African population doesn’t exist there. Most of this is hidden under Pseudo riddled race categories such as Dravnian, which is more of a linguistic category, one that, to note, doesn’t even show up on my Microsoft Word Processor, albeit its a 1999 model, story still stands. There of course are Sri Lankans, another people based on their home, than race, I digress, most of the time, their race can’t be exactly identified, but here’s something different to note.

India itself, although in an Asia territory, is typically divided in its own right. Categorized as Asians, this is of course subjective. As no one can properly define race, but I tend to have a way, by using how it was brought up in the first place.

There is a country in Africa that borders on close territory close to India, its shoreline meeting the latter’s. This would be Ethiopia, and after wondering, even before the reason and need before this site was thought and put into progress, that they, Ethiopians, shared an almost eerie semblance to those of India’s country, primarily Southern Indians.

In the 1200s, towards the 1900s slave routes were put between Ethiopian shores and India’s western shore. Among this trading route is an island South of the country, Sri Lanka, which hosts a group of Indians named Tamil, although, through researching I find their group’s complexion to vary greatly, but was used to explain the origins and idea of an anime character named, Anthy Himemiya.

The slave routes continued specifically between these two spots
Ethiopia and the western shores of Southern India,
and for decades that race of Africans more and more mixed into the population at the time. Who though, I am unfortunately not sure, as to which complexion they may of had before hand, as those decades were not very long for anything too definitive, but of course, still enough, as there were many, many over years, and that does nothing but make more combinations of people
.

There are the Aeti, a group of people near Taiwan, with nappy hair, slanted eyes, wide, big nostrils, and dark skin. No one really knows what happened before history was recorded. Those native to Australia had many African features, hair like wool, dark skin, wide nostrils, no slants. Who still to this day have a battle over their own land and how’s its being taken in short, no more than Native Americans would to this day.
I guess the gamut is high for anything, but I’m sure, and not to speak for them, both Native Australians and Americans, are in displease over their homeland being taken.

However, not to digress any more.
There is a people in India,
who are looked down upon by other Indians,
no more than Dravindians are, ‘darker’ Indians are among lighter ones.
These people who reside in South India are highly athletic and have their customs mixed with them and their place in India,

and have adopted beliefs from both sides. They are called the Siddi.
Notice the eyes...on all of them...Will divulge later.

They are African Indians, of the darkest kind. This could also be said for the Sinhalese.
Others are still pending.

Foxy

King of Fighter's Foxy

Venezuela: African population: 7%

Demographic of Columbia:

Africans (Slaves)
Amerindians
European Immigrants

Mixing in this country has been encouraged, however to be ported to Venezuela is a question of subjection and what, (In consideration to how dark) A Mestizo person is, who if anything, is the primary mix of Africans and Indigenous Colombians, and whether or not she was ever mixed in the first place.

Misleading first photos, profile artworks, actual phototype in-game.

With that into consideration, her dark photo type shows very little in lieu of mixing in combination with the fact that she couldn’t of been too diluted to show any prime distinctions. For not being African that is.

Mestizo, Diego Armando Maradona

The Africans at the time, were brought as slaves, mainly on the coastal lowlands, which just so happens to be the place of port, to where the population migrated in some numbers to Venezuela, from the coastlines.

There is some impediment as to the fact, slaves where brought up until the 19th century, abolition followed shortly after, as well as the movement to mix Afro Columbian/Latin people with indigenous Colombians in the Mestizaje movement.

Mestizo, Porfirio Díaz

However the national movement refers to people of Mixed European and Indigenous Non-European ancestry. It mainly applies to the mixed European and Indigenous Amerindian, however, this could just be a common observance in that Mestizaje could of applied to Afro Colombians and Indigenous at some point in time separately in its own isolated movement.

Notice the size of the Lips, even the jawline if necessary.

Whichever was the proper movement and/or situation. Those of general Mestizo are far too light, being the majority of Amerindian and European, as compared to the much more, breathable concept of Indigenous Colombians and Afro Colombians.

However even still, with Foxy’s dark Phototype, it may just very well mean, that due to abolition being so close to this movement, obvious, apparent generation gaps could of easily lead to an out flourish of freed slaves, especially close to the coastlines in which they were generally shipped and probably stayed in majority, to migrate, in percentages to Venezuela, as purebred Africans freed from slavery.

Ironically, in tales of plot norms, and cliche', the "Brown" one dies in the story.

Vanessa Lewis

Vanessa Lewis: Is a European security guard, who was adopted by a man who led her into a profession that would eventually lead her to be somewhat of a Bodyguard. She is featured in Virtua Fighter’s 4th of the series as the first Female Black character.

In 2002 Virtua Fighter released a revamp of its formal title, with the debut of Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution, it touched down American shores on the date of August 13th, 2003, an year later after it was already in Japanese homes.

With this, Vanessa experienced a wardrobe edit, that neglected to include her default outfit.

Whereas everyone had two, a norm in 3D forms of this genre, she was only shown in all aspects of the game, regardless of what could be done by lieu of progress (Or Gameshark/Action Replay), in her 2P outfit, a set of Camouflage military wear, that mirrored her security guard outfit with the formerly mentioned patterned as a skin.

Her formal outfit was that of what one would wear along the lines of realistic Vale Tudo, the style she represented in-game to players to use.

This included a simple two piece spandex outfit that made it easier to grabble, and in realistic incarnations, wouldn’t let loose fitting clothes obstruct ability. It mirrored her fighting mechanic, the way her 2P outfit mirrored her profession; Now her in-game edited skin as her default wear.

In recent Incarnations Vanessa has seen some complexion change, as well as a change of physique going against her more realistic portrayal in former outlets of the series.

Her eyes are seen as green, whereas she shows no other affiliation of race, and her hair as white, typical abstract colors for Japanese Media.

With this, the game offers in game customizations, both her, and the other character of African heritage now - in conjunction to being lighter overall.

Have a edit of skin, for the first time tagged as “White” where the body resembles that of someone near Caucasian or to represent them in a different light, in this case, literally.

Counter: Other characters of the series, all of them of a Phototype at a gauge of 1-2.5 have the ability to get “Sunburned” skin. Whereas this could be seen as fair trade, this could just as easily, be seen as, with juxtaposition of both characters of African Heritage getting lighter, an inability or hindrance to claim, or portray that not either one of these two characters are capable of a tan, or more ideally - able to be shown in the original concept they were started out with in Debut.

The Law of African Descent in Japanese Animation

Contradictions,
One drop rule,
Regional basis

Example
One Drop rule, Light Skin people with an African American mother, is recognized and treated equally stereotyped and oppressed as their Dark Skin brethren, at least in general consensus.

Regional Basis, i.e. Brazil, Venezuela, South America, Europe, East Asian, equaling “not black” when in general Consensus, and that of Recent Demographics, and mainly thanks to the slave trade centuries ago, African Diaspora has led out to South America, Europe, there are African Descent in East Asia and Venezuela, many in the Caribbean, this will explain characters of Eddy Gordo and Christie Moneterio of Tekken (3 and up) Fame, along with Vannessa (European) from Virtua Fighter 4 and up Fame, Foxy (Venezuelan) of KOF2k1 fame, along with many other characters.
Perennial Dictum.
“White people are in lots far greater than Black people in Japan, which is why Blacks aren‘t shown”

This is a misguiding statement, for what should really be.
Japan, has been, and is widely agreed upon, for many years until only a few years recently, to be very Homogenous, often apt to many articles citing them, or even to actual footage of restaurants, soup bars, and many other personal, yet public places, being banned from all foreigners, that in turn, requires the assistance of a Japanese Acquaintance.
If any needs actual footage of this phenomena email me, and I’ll gladly attach a note with the specific reporter’s name who captured the footage, I also have it saved to the computer, if one isn’t capable of streaming video, or a bad internet connection.
Ganguro,
“She’s not black, she’s Ganguro”

A misleading statement, for what should really be, what inspired Ganguro, this is often divided into two things, America’s impression, often of white, male and females of 16-27 who consider it to be a representation of white women tanning in the beaches of California, whilst Japan itself has published in one its magazines I believe called Fruits, citing that this may of been inspired by the many African American singers and prominent names in this country of the former African descent, which isn’t too far from many of the J-rap, J-R&B that has been inspired in Japan from much of the modern hip-hop culture, which is, in many Japanese minds, frowned upon, for imitating Afrocentric Norms of African Americans.

Many examples of Ganguro run the gamut from Tenchi Fame, Mihoshi, as well as many Elves, Record of the Loddess War, more prominently Berserk, which shows many characters of a phototype around that of levels of 5;6, 6;6, phototypes found only in those of Sub Saharan Africa itself, in other words representing the majority, than those of, also widely agreed upon to this day, African, Negroid peoples, the Berbers, Modern Egyptians, and so on, of more a Creole of Asiatic and African descent, mixing and migrating over the years, now recently with others who come to the country, in upper Africa, which widely isn’t accepted or represented in Japanese Animation Norms.

Note: Phototype is a skin complexion level divided into 6 agreed upon complexions in comparison to the melanin, the lowest being usually that of natural red hair and blue eyes, hence the lack of melanin, the highest being someone of the Nuba tribe in Africa, Etc. The lower the Phototype, the harder it is to actually tan brown, or shades of brown, which has been vastly disputed over to if people are all actually lighter shades of brown, which wouldn’t explain why this isn’t reflected in the blue eye phenomena as the retina is exposed without the melanin and shows the blood running through, or in it, as it is agreed upon, blood until reaching oxygen, is in fact, blue, green is merely a slight variation, that mixes with other colors, and so on, with other reasonable eye colors.

I have found many problems among the African American community among the gamut of Portrayals, many results, keying in a search engine on “She’s not black” alone, devoid of anime got well over 1,200 results, so using key names, such as anime characters would be far a greater range of skepticism among the Caucasian community and those who agree to their view.
“She’s not/He’s not even human, she’s Dwarf, Demon, Elf, etc” Dictum
This is also a misleading view, often apt to bring up the Japanese’s culture differences and creativity, in which, in part, would be considered a form of naive art, which is contradictory, as many Japanese run the gamut of by far some of the most symbolist tones, in almost every medium, in form of Art and Entertainment.
Aisha of Outlaw Star fame is a prominent example of this, along with many Non-human characters, that are often agreed upon, at least geologically speaking, African Descent, of either some form of Ethiopian descent, African descent, or any of their surroundings, it is also important to note the Aeta of Taiwan are the original inhabitants who have wide noses, dark skin, tightly coiled hair, and is popularly known to that they agree upon being “Black” and recognize themselves as such, that Aisha could be considered African in one of those contexts. This has often relegated Black people in general, regardless of area or current region of birth, to being relegated into a fictional purpose. Often using Blacks from Brazil, or over seas to use us in a different life while simultaneously construing the stereotype of us in USA as blacks you’ve seen in old and recent anime. This is also led to many discussions among forums that are ultimately shut down by an idealistic, white, and often, in many cases black, moderator, who finds the habit of seeing color vulgar, yet simultaneously turning his or her head to the neglect of one, which I find, personally, quite disappointing to be honest.
Now that is all for now, I want to get this out there and see if any of you will reply to this, if you have any questions or comments feel free to Email me.
The law of Black Anime Construction.
One drop rule, using similar features found in many of those mixed to put us into a category, one can use, conversely to a character that doesn’t have much an explanation in an anime that you are certain emulates, a false stereotype of their actual nationality, and denies the rightful owners respect as to be portrayed properly by them. Nadia could be a prominent example of this.
Blue eyes, Blonde hair, this is also of odd construction, As dark skin characters sport blue eyes and blonde hair, even ones meant to be stereotypically depicted, example, the general from Xenosaga, as well as the general in one of the more recent Transformers renditions. The constant denial of rending assunder, these depictions has led to many Whites denying Blacks over forums and many conversations alike, in great numbers, to claiming characters naturally based on them, as it can be easily said,
“Cloud is white” - FFVII
“Haren is black” - Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata
“Cloud isn’t from European decent, in a fictional setting”
“Haren isn’t a from African descent, in a fictional setting”
Cloud is still considered White.

The law of African Diaspora
The law of inherited ignorance
The law of Asian Symbolism
The law of Asian understanding
The law of compare and depicting
Africans spread out throughout the world, planting seeds of genetics in many areas, from Asia, to Europe, to Middle East, to South America and North, among others. Making both them, and their genetics prominent, in real life, and fantasy portrayals, based off another’s Nationality, not race, i.e. Brazilian, Venezuelan, etc. It should also be noted, one’s race itself is used in a similar manner i.e. Mexican, Hispanic, Native American - regardless of what the former is mixed with, with African blood.

Inherited Ignorance is used to describe Asians who still sell and buy Blackface related products, or using them as mascots for products, i.e. toothpaste. Also in many Anime, usually depicting the same features of lips and dotted eyes, over a different skin color, usually inhuman in color i.e. green, blue, also depicts something not human at times as well.
The law of symbolism, Asians have been symbolist for years, from portrayals of ancient history in many forms of media, to parades. This delves into most things they do, especially stories, as they are often apt to be depicting something else.
Ganguro is believed to be based off Africans, this is the Asian understanding, what people in other places do is try to relate to Asian beliefs and come up with definitions as to what and how they work, from their media to everyday life.
